I know that there are lots of bugs in OOo, Firefox, Thunderbird, ect

These apps are not gtk-based, and therefore fixing these bugs will introduce even more bugs.

I am tryinor find a workg to fix these bugs once at a time without creating a new bug.

P.S. Sorry for the late reply.

man you do a great work but there is only one problem, the white and the gray line in the panels is horrible in tiny panels mine is on the 29 minimum and is really ugly. is there any config file i can edit to remove it? perhaps with a config file from the original moomex?, and btw could you post the colors used in the picture?thanks and keep up the good work

You can use any image editor to remove the gray line in the panel.

The panel background is located in
$HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/gtk-2.0/Panel/panel-bg-black.png

The colors used in the 1st screenshot is the default ones.

I dont remebber the color scheme for the 2nd one.

I'm using it, but I can't get the transparency anyway. Do I need to activate some plugin?

To set menu transparency, launch CompizConfig Setting Manager, select the General Options tile and navigate to the Opacity Settings tab.
Expand the Window Opacities section and click the Add button.
A small dialog window will open and prompt for window specification and the desired opacity.

In the Opacity Windows text field, you have to input a pipe-separated list of window types to which you want to apply the transparency.
I use the following string:

Tooltip | Menu | PopupMenu | DropdownMenu

P.S. I presume you have compizconfig-settings-manager already installed

I have found one bug: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5231/moomexultimatetextbugtf5.png
This you can re-produce by opening any package with the File Roller 2.22.2 and click on extract button.

Your welcome.
The bug is the shadow that makes the text in the main window where the filenames are. The text is ghost-like. In one of my theme I have the same thing to be fixed up. I did not solve yet but I realize it in others theme too. :-)
I use LCD screen and my font smoothing is of. I suppose it would be different look on CRT screen with font smoothing.

I you carefully observe the fonts in the 'places' field and compare with the 'names' column you should be able to see the different.

Sorry, I thought that was due to the poor quality of the screenshot and the font you are using. (I need to see an eye doctor)

I will try to fix it in the next release.

Thanks again
