how can i remove the drop shadow? the theme makes my laptop screen to dark, so almost everything becomes unreadable. however, after reusing my human theme, there is a drop shadow under the panels and behind my window decoration, the shadow is an ugly striped pattern :(

strange, never happened to me. however if you want to delete the drop shadow behind your windows i think you have to put to 0 the opacity of the emerald windows decorator shadows. Go in
Emerald Theme Manager->Edit Theme->Shadows then put Opacity to 0.
This should avoid the shadow bug. It's the only shadow present into the theme and the fact that when you turn to Human it persists, all point to Emerald..
Hope that works.

I wonder why this is so underrated... one of the most complete and best works here. And the first dark theme that did work with firefox. Thanks! If there were a score-system, I would rate it 10 on a 5-scale :D

thank you very much!
I think it is so underrated because it was low scored while it was developing, and a lot of people dowload it on deviantart and then forget to score it here on gnome-look.. but for me its enough seeing that it have been dowloaded more than 10000 times!
Thanks again for your support! if you want to try a light version of this theme download "Azureus-Mariux" here:
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aureus-Mariux+Theme?content=75783&PHPSESSID=cda86cf65304bb6641a87d90262c6783
i'm still developing it!

im really impressed someone turned my design into a real theme, great!!
Ive been watching this project develop and its starting to look really good now, but i would say (as many coomented on my designs) that the top of the window bar is a tad too think and the scroll bar looks quite harsh, i think i would tend towards a smooth gradient for that. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks willwill100 for your comment.
Yeah i'm still developing this theme and I tried a customization of it on my Aureus-Mariux theme (take a look!), i think i'll change few things like the scrollbar or the bars in selection in main menu with the next release!
Thanks again for your great mockup, base of this theme!
