Description:

This will be a theme suite for fxce or gnome.

Thunderbird skin and gtk theme are in the works.

Sorry for my bad english. I just want to know what you think about my work. I hope you like it.

I will release the whole package with FF, TB, emerald and gtk Themes soon.

NOTE: This is NOT a copy of OSX. This is my own style.

Changelog:

0.4.1
Some works on the gtk theme.
New screenshot (1 + 2).
0.4
The firefox themes for ff2 and ff3 are finished. Now I am working on the gtk theme.

The theme is much brighter ans softer now as you can see on the new screensot (3).
The titlebuttons are smaller now and etched in.

0.3
Updated firefox theme to work with the new firefox version 3.0. Dont worry, it still works with 2.0.

White shadows on bookmarkbar and tabs, so that they look like etched in. Not a big effect, but its realy nice and clean.

0.2
I have changed the firefox tabs to match the original aurora tabs. It looks much smoother now and fits well with the gtk theme.

New scrollbars and toolbars for the Aurora gtk Theme. I dont like the original aurora scrollbars, so I have crated my own scollbars to match the aurora button style.

Hi,

One thing i noticed: You have 2 Button layouts - with border like in the 3rd picture and without border. IMHO all buttons should look the same. I would be voting for the buttons with border ...

Can you do the window theme in metacity?

I'm really looking forward to this theme.

Michael

I agree with mflaig!!

and also as a small request...

can you make the buttons a tad bit larger?

I know that its very trendy to have them extremely tiny like that, but ts a huge violation of fitt's law!

thanks

There will be different versions. One with bigger buttons and one with the tiny ones. Note that the clickspots of the tiny ones are the same size as the big ones. You dont have to aim to hit a button.

 Very nice but...

... I just have one question : it seems that you use the gtk hack to have a macstyle menu-bar. Is your theme going to work with the classic menubar under the window title ? This is my only doubt. Except for that point your theme is really awesome (the scrollbars could be a little more thiner maybe, more "integrated"?).

There will be a theme for with or without the mac style menusbar.

please, create gtk using clearlooks engine with gummy style - it's faster and nicer than aurora.

also, aurora is very buggy and hacky.

I am using aurora since months and i have not noticed any bugs or speed issues.

Aurora looks much nicer than clearlooks, i don't like the entrys and tabs of clearlooks.

why dont you do it yourself?
this theme looks awsome as it is.. stop confusing the author and use your time for something like building a theme on your own.
