Updated:  Nov 19 2007

Description:

My first GTK2 theme. It's based on RoyaltyBlack. Metacity, panel background and start icon are included.

To make panel transparent go to panel options and choose panelbg_black.png as a background.

To use my start button run gconf-editor, go to: /apps/panel/objects/object_0/
choose custom_icon, set a path to startbutton.png and tick use_custom_icon .

There are still few bugs with font colours.

Changelog:

0.3
added metacity frames.
changed the font colour to make it more visible.
changed the background colour to less bright.
new scrollbars and progressbars
0.3.1
fixed a bug with a combo button.

However, and I've noticed this before, going to the path you described in the gconf-editor is totally blank; there aren't ANY values there for me to edit at all.

P.S. I'm using Linux Mint 3.1 Celena.

Got it! That's the first time that's EVER worked for me!

Thank you so much. And the theme, I'm using it right now, it's very sleek and original! Excellent job!

As you wish :]. I will make metacity frames in next version I'll also try to make the theme less bright. I'm a novice in these things, especialy creating metacity, so it take me much time.

Hehe, I actually noticed that too and modified the metacity theme a little bit.
Just download the Schwermetall-Dark-Ice gtk and metacity theme from my blog. :)
