Description:

>> NOTE: Not ready to be used yet. It is a kind of preview. I am dumping only the 128x128 icons inside beta4 package. Main target is to provide xfce a full icon theme (for panels and settings).

iComity is an icon theme based on public good designs from many sources. Some of the icons are original work made by me, most of them are tweaks or redesigns.

All icons on the collection are in SVG format and they will be released on this form together with the needed bash scripts to convert them to a format more convenient for DEs (PNG) and a gui to customize its colors (of arrows, folders and some others).

The license of each icon is listed on copyright.notice, linked to the original author. As I could not remember all the icons origins, I will accept indications posted here to correct any mistakes. I praise all the good designers that released their wonderful work for free.

Changelog:

Still refining some icon properties, Lots of tweaks still happening. Getting close anyway.

Beta 4:
Most of the icons were redone. New ones added.

Beta 3:
Fixed most of the problems I could see and added some icons.

Beta 2:
Corrected lots of icons names and include more icons.

License:
Per-icon basis, listed on copyright.notice.

Thanks, but lets not forget that it is a comunity icon collection and as such I'll take the praise on behalf of all the contributers (even the ones that are not aware of it yet).

Regards
Andre

keep up the good work.
This set reminds me a bit of the great icons of DreamLinux, but even better :)

 where are the svg ?

Hello,

First, your icon set is simply sensational.

You say that all icons are in svg format and that a bash script make conversions to png icons. Since I prefer svg format, I looked about them in the download folder but I found nothing. Am I blind ? :-p

Is it possible to have the svg files please ?

Cheers

Yes, they are all in svg format and I have a nice bash script that generates not only the icons but also the index.theme file already running fine.

I had not that much time to work on them after my vacation finished but now I am again working on it and my vacation is close again.

Also, I had a nice idea about a graphical icon theme assembler and it is looking really good. If I don't finish it by the end of February I will release what I already have, the svg icons and the bash script

I'm glad you enjoy them but, as I said, they are not just mine, most of them are creations of other designers or are inspired by something I saw.

Thanks, and keep one eye on this little project ;)

 save and print icons

I think these icons are very nice, but I don't like the save and print icons. I don't think they are anywhere near as recognisable as the traditional save/print icons that I am used to.
