Description:

This cursor set just RESEMBLES the cursor set in the famous game: StarCraft

just run the install.sh script, and the set will be installed on ~/.icons/CursorCraft
add a file .Xdefaults to your home directory if not exist, and these two line into it:
Xcursor.theme: CursorCraft
Xcursor.size: 39
then restart X and enjoy it!

I'v made a part of the whole set, so any comment are welcome! In fact, this set is ported from the one I use in Windows. The number of the cursors of Windows is less than that of X, So can anyone give me some advice to finish the rest.

special thanks to uga at:
http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/search.php?username=uga
for his/her good manual.

This is a very cool theme, me thinks !

I'd be glad to see you finish it.

I'd be even more so, if you could provide a version with a drop-shadow!

kind regards

Hi,

this theme is wonderful, I love it, thanks for it.

well, I'm using KDE 3.1 on Red Hat 8.0 Beta 3, the install process (yours) didn"t work for me, so I did the following :
- I placed the CursoCraft directory, generated on ~/.icons, under /usr/share/icons and
- I edited index.theme to change the Icon Theme to CursoCraft, and it works fine.

Regards.

 animated cursors ?

Does XFree86 4.3.x also support animated cursurs like Windowse or only "static" cursors ?
Or is it possible to even use animated Windows cursors with X without modification ?

XFree86 4.3.x can support animated cursors. but the .ani files of Windows is not supported directly. u can use some ani file edit tool to convert the ani file into a serial of png files.

Very good cursor icons, and work fine even without KDE ;-). I'm using these in my laptop with only Gnome installed & Fluxbox as a window manager (HD space restrictions...). I have a small request, though: could you please make something to replace the standard hand/finger cursor? Now the hand cursor looks a little out of place with these.
