Description:

This is the first alpha release of the Aqualooks cairo based GTK theme engine. Though this is not feature complete yet and bit buggy, I'm releasing this due to increasing demand and I always respect the community.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ALPHA QUALITY SOFTWARE.

Note:
There are 2 critical issues at the moment I've identified and trying to fix.
Gnumeric and wxDFast giving segmentation faults.

How To:

Install:

1. Extract the archive
2. cd Aqualooks.x.x.x
3. ./configure --prefix=/usr
4. make
5. sudo make install

Docker:

 How to use it ?

First of all, this engine is a very good job!

I don't know how to use it, do I have to modify a special theme, or is there a theme which uses your engine ?

Just out of interest, do you have any macs on hand to work from? If not I'd be happy to send you screenshots of whatever obsucre widget you need. Keep it up.

Any way you can make the scrollbar bar thing be aqua blue? And anyway to make the scrollbar buttons turn aqua blue when you press them?

Hey, looks like an awesome port of Aqua. I like the fact dialog windows have stripped background.

Another thing you should try to do is making toolbar buttons wider, I don't if this is possible to make on the engine, or whatever... but at least in GTK+ theme files I was unable to simulate that.

Keep up!

I love it but it makes my gnome-panel crash (I tried some apps for the look while ignoring the crashes).

I hope for newer versions soon!

Just another note, the compile puts everyting in /usr/local, while my distro looks in /usr. I have Ubuntu Dapper and Edgy.

Sorry, just noticed the /usr option to configure.

But the crash remains
