Description:

Elegance is pixmap gtk2 theme,with black menubar and metacity.There are two metacity themes,and in the elegance folder there is some extra stuff.For example if you don`t like scrollbars that you see on screenshot you can change them with other style that is provided.

For changing some of the controls,and changing firefox menubar font color please read Readme file.

Known issues Firefox and OpenOffice menubar font,fix for firefox font color is provided,and if someone knwos fix for openoffice please provide one.

That would be all see screenshot for more info.

This update fixes some visible issues wiht the theme. Fixed black background in Launcher properties, fixed double line around editbox,fixed small blue line above stepper up, in scrollbar.

NOTE: Now you need to manually load panel-bg.png located in ~/Elegance/gtk-2.0/Panel/ directory. In order for your panel to be black.

Very nice theme, but after installing it, I don't have the same effects.
Does this theme use a specific engine? (I'm on a fresh install, and I don't have lots of gtk-engines installed)

It uses pixmap engine and you should have it all ready installed with default install,now can you tell me what effect you don`t have so i can give you more information.

After having a deeper look, it seems that my problem comes from this error:

/usr/share/themes/Elegance/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:43: error: invalid identifier `xthickness', expected valid identifier

So I've commented some line, and now it works

Problem with xmms applet in gnome and the xmms icons from the bottom, they become blacked out until you move the mouse of them, amazing theme btw :) many thanks
