Description:

Elegance is pixmap gtk2 theme,with black menubar and metacity.There are two metacity themes,and in the elegance folder there is some extra stuff.For example if you don`t like scrollbars that you see on screenshot you can change them with other style that is provided.

For changing some of the controls,and changing firefox menubar font color please read Readme file.

Known issues Firefox and OpenOffice menubar font,fix for firefox font color is provided,and if someone knwos fix for openoffice please provide one.

That would be all see screenshot for more info.

This update fixes some visible issues wiht the theme. Fixed black background in Launcher properties, fixed double line around editbox,fixed small blue line above stepper up, in scrollbar.

NOTE: Now you need to manually load panel-bg.png located in ~/Elegance/gtk-2.0/Panel/ directory. In order for your panel to be black.

I can`t run compiz on my computer i have
issue with messa beacouse of my ati grpahic card,so i can`t do decoration for compiz.
However if you want to or somebody you know willing to port to compiz feel free to do so.

I modified your port to bring it closer to the original metacity.

Also, I made the inactive frame slightly transparent.

Hey,

There appears to be a small bug with your theme. If you open a GUI program through terminal, it gives this error (but loads everything anyways, and everything looks fine):

.themes/Elegance/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:1249: Unable to locate image file in pixmap_path: "Range/null.png"

This might just be me, but I re-installed Ubuntu yesterday, so I doubt that anything is buggered.

I have the same problem with Ubuntu and terminal: system reports a lot of errors described above by another user on attempt to open some GUI application from command line :(.

Fix it please.

I am using Vista Inspirate icon theme,but i am changing icons all the time depends of theme,and i what i want.You need to be more specific about font,also there is readme file in Eleganceta.tar.gz.
