Description:

Dark version of Mint-X

- GTK3 and GTK2 codes were mod version of Mint-X theme from Qiana.
- Cinnamon code was a mod version of Linux Mint Cinnamon theme from Qiana.

Credit goes to original authors.

Tested on:
- Linux Mint 17.1 (Cinnamon)
- Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon)
- Linux Mint 17 (Mate)
- Linux Mint 17 (Xfce)

Workaround:
To fix image dimensions text color in backgrounds settings

- Go to /usr/lib/cinnamon-settings/modules
- Open cs_backgrounds.py file and search for dimensions

For LM 17.1 users
- change color from #555555 to #ffffff (line 613 for my case)

For LM 17 users
- change color from #555555 to #ffffff (line 329 for my case)

Note: Please backup cs_backgrounds.py before you made any changes on it.

To install:
- Extract mint-x-mod-bundle.tar.gz
- Go to mint-x-mod-bundle folder
- Copy mint-x-mod and mint-x-mod-flat into /usr/share/themes folder

 Interesting..

I usually use a light theme but, this is a really good dark theme. Even includes the Cinnamon theme. Nice work.

One 'problem...'

Open 'System-Settings' and look at the main page. The icon fonts color is black. I believe they would look better white. Can you fix this?

Everything else is stunning!
Voted good.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Still couldn't figure out which part in css that needs to be change for that.

Thanks for bringing this up :)

window borders have the default color

I've been using mint for a while and I'm surprised I just found this, the only problem I have is that the window borders are of the same colour as the default mint-x, the buttons are white as intended but the border itself stays the same. Is there a way to manually change this? thanks in advance.

I purposely leave window border to be black.

As for button, are you referring to GTK2 or GRK3?

I'll look into it once I got time. Hopefully it's just a tweak in css.

for button border, both GTK2 and GTK3 for this theme are using images located at
gtk-2.0/images/button
gtk-3.0/borders/button
