Description:

A simple, minimalist, elegant GTK theme.

A milky white design, striving to be as minimalist and elegant as possible. I intentionally made it as 2D as I could, to give it a cleaner, more streamlined look.

Greyscale in focus, I tried to focus more on the minimalizing the little details, such as scrollbars, text boxes, etc. rather than colors.

The idea was to let the icons and applications have all the color, while the OS drops into the background.

Changelog:

This requires the murrine/pixmap engines installed; without it, xfce engines may not display the theme properly.

Very nice wallpaper, otherwise the GTK theme looks a bit strange in XFCE at least..

Make sure that you have gtk2-engines-pixbuf and gtk-engines-pixmap installed.

it may not be the theme, it might be that you don't have the right engines installed.

From your gtkrc file : "Do not redistribute it or release any mods."
Is that GPL ?

 nice but...

This is one of the nicest themes i've ever seen.
Though there are some problems with the gtk theme I think. this strange border to the left in all the menus? that should just be removed. the colors in the menu should also be tweaked to a more white background with a gray hilight kind. if that was done. this would be perfect!

problem is, i can't figure out how to get rid of it... smh

it didn't bother me that much, so i just left it.

gud one Max! xcellent stuff! however i concur with Jip regarding the License issue! from ur comments in ur gtkrc file, this can certainly not be GPL! since it is based on clarkkent's truth theme, and u got prior permission from him about this port, may be u shud also rethink the release license! otherwise the theme roxx!

it's GPL. initially, i just wanted to use this theme:

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Truth+for+linux?content=45987

but there were so many bugs in it, i had to fix them one by one. after awhile, i got tired of patching it, i changed it so much that it's not even the same theme anymore. i guess i forgot to change a few lines of code re: GPL. i'll take care of it when i make the xfce changes.

his theme is pretty cool though. i wish it worked. his was based on this mac os theme:

 an inherited bug

by jest on: Jan 17 2008

that was one of the bugs from the "truth" template file i started with.

i had the same problem. all the text is coded as black, but sometimes the text changes colors. first it was invisible like yours, then it turned red for some reason.

eventually, it came out black on my computer. i thought it was fixed. i'll have to look into it again.
