    a bit harder to read on the active menu item? If there were more contrast there, I think this theme would be better.

    Some strange thing in nimbus engine: text[...]=... doesn't affect text colors on menus... Everywhere except menus :( I simply have add modified version of the theme with darker backgrounds behind active items (look at screenshot).

    hi, I try to build gtk-engines-nimbus-0.0.5 (gentoo), but:
    configure: error: icon-naming-utils >= 0.8.1 is required to build
    and install the nimbus icon theme
