Description:

A design intended for a sticker for a Laptop.
The Tux image was obtained from a vectorized version from Simon Budig, http://www.home.unix-ag.org/simon/ and the Linux word style is based on the logo designed by Matt Ericson, http://www.ericson.net/.

Changelog:

Version 1.0 :
-Added .odt (OOo writer) version for easy printing.
-Added two new screenshots showing the look of a finished sticker.

The sticker was printed onto a sheet of standard sticker paper and then covered with a plastic film (the same used to cover books).

Thanks. It is not difficult to do it. In the update , there is an odt file that simplifies printing.

That's weird, I tried downloading the file in another computer and I found no problem there. Can you check if cmmi10 font appears in your Inkscape? That was the font I used to make the "i" in Linux.

If you select the letter and use from the PATH menu "Object to Path", then the image will render into PNG without a problem without needing the proper font at all. If you're concerned about retaining editability, then keep a copy of the svg without the conversion and distribute the converted one. That will solve the problem for everyone.
