Description:

this is a theme for xfwm4 very much resembling Nopersona's metacity-version of Hemoglobinus. (the arty-farty credit goes to him or her.)

dive knee-deep into the pink.

 Rounds

I like this theme!

Is the blockyness of the round buttons intended?

hmm, "intended". i wouldn't say that. problem is that smoothness (especially with circles) is not that easy to achieve at such a low resolution (23x23px).

i added a gaussian blur at a very low level to smoothen' it up, but i can try to do apply that effect even more.

does anyone have any other suggestions to make circles of low resolution (in xpm format) smoother?

The small round button on the far left of the window is ok. But making the other three buttons that small isn't to your liking?

hmmm, lets say i'm not a huge fan of very small buttons (i mean: from a pragmatic point of view, i want to be able to hit them even after a few beers ;) ).

i just found this (http://www.xfce.org/xfwm4-theme-howto/) and they say that you can produce gradients with pngs overlaying the xpms(it seems that you can't have gradients with xpm-only -> blockiness). unfortunately my first experiments with this failed. i will maybe take another shot tomorrow, as i have to leave now.

 Shade button?

Is there support for the extra buttons XFCE allows for (such as one to shade the window) in the works?

yes, i would say so. you simply have to edit the themerc in the xfwm4 folder of the theme.

modify the line "button_layout=O|HMC" to your liking. i don't know the keys by heart (although i think "S" is for the shade-button) but i'm sure you can find that somewhere (e.g. by having a look into a theme that has a shade-button).
