Description:

Changelog:

- v0.04 better tabs, adjust progress bar, adjust pressed buttons, less contrast stippled background (next version will have 2 ou 3 choices). I have some difficulties with the GTK2 version for the moment. So I invite you to test the incredible GTK-QT Theme Engine from davidsansome available here: http://kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=9714
- reupload archive for some pixmaps seemed to be corrupted
- Cleaned archive. It now contains an extra folder with the original Mosfet artwork extracted from the C++ files (courtesy of Ashley Collins). Some people might be interested ;). These original pixmap were compared to the one I used in v0.02 and that's why I hope v0.03 looked better after the changes I made. I alsa have to say that I could not managed to get enough time these last weeks to work on the project. Hope It will be better next days. Of course, collaborative work is wellcome.
- v 0.03 minor enhancements, better designed pixmaps, pressed buttons, different option menu pixmap with overlay but I still have problem with height (Try DVD Rip for example, you'll see what I mean).
Installation information added
- v 0.02 updated archive, hope there is no more bad hard links.
- v 0.01 only for GTK1.

 Button Colors

Great Theme. I'm using it with Gtkqt and it works almost perfect. The only problem is that the button's color are always gray no matter what I set in KDE.

I just can't wait for GTK2 version

Another things...

Some buttons, when pressed, show the cornners of a normal button behind the liquid one. This happened in GIMP.

Continuing with the buttons, when pressed, they get smaller while in real kde liquid mosfet, they just go some pixels left and down.

Oh yes I know.
I'll try to fix that for the next version. But If you know how to do it, I'd be glad.

Try to look at your /home//.qt/qtrc file to find out the problem.

Now I'm lost!

When I'm logged, it don't change the button's, text's and the combobox's popup list's colors. This was what I notice in the program switch and gimp.
Panel colors, checkbox, combos... everything is rigth.

[luizd@linux luizd]$ su - luizd
Password:
[luizd@linux luizd]$ whoami
luizd
[luizd@linux luizd]$ switch # this is rigth
[luizd@linux luizd]$

If you're under Mandrake 9.2, have you tried to uninstall the default Gnome Galaxy theme from Mandrake ?

 Installing GTK theme

Could someone help me with installing this theme? This is the first time I have tried to install a GTK theme, and it's not working too well. I download GLiquid, QtPixmap, and GtkQt. Configure, make, make install seem to work fine for QtPixmap and GtkQt. I extract GLiquid and mv it to /usr/share/themes/. cp /usr/share/themes/GLiquid/gtk/gtkrc to ~/.gtkrc I also edit /usr/share/themes/GtkQt/gtk/qtstyle2gtkstylerc adding the line Liquid=GLiquid. Also I make $HOME/.gtkrc-2.0 and add

gtk-font-name = "Bitstream Vera Sans 12"
and
include "/usr/share/themes/GLiquid/gtk/gtkrc"

Then I restart X but everything is like it was.

slack 9.1, 2.4.22
KDE 3.1.4

Everything you've done seems fine.
But, this theme is for GTK1 apps only.
Have you tried with mplayer gui ?

For GTK2 (and only GTK2 for the moment) you can install the great GTK-QT Theme Engine (mind the CAPS letters) http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=9714

because Gtk-Qt is already installed, you can modifiy your usr/share/themes/GtkQt/gtk-2.0/qtstyle2gtkstylerc with GtkQtDefault=Qt
