Description:

This is a modified version of the original Dust Sand theme created by rico-ambiesc. You can find the original one here:
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ubuntu+Dust?content=88790

I made changes to the metacity theme buttons. I also made changes to the scroll bar, modified the colors of the GTK theme slightly and added dotted line to the Listview state.

If you are using the PPA(https://launchpad.net/~kwwii/+archive to install the theme in Ubuntu run this (sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine)command in a terminal window after updating your /etc/apt/sources.list file

Nothing has changed with the theme I just added a Desktop Wallpaper.

Changelog:

  • The image for the screen handler

  • The close button on press

  • The contrast highlight for the menu, nautilus buttons and scrollbars

  • Shinny progress bar added.

  • The bottom of the windows in normal view(not maximized) are now rounded

  • ----------------------------------------

Made some changes to the Metacity Theme.

    ----------------------------------------

I added different theme colors and fixed the MaCUltimate Leopard recognition upon install the theme. You can get the Dust Mac Color collection from here http://www.deviantart.com/download/105954426/Dust_Mac_Collection_by_spartan2276.gz

Hi, I love the theme and want to use it, but there is only one problem:

When I have a program open, like GEdit or Firefox, which has a "File, Edit, etc..." menu bar, then it looks fine. But, as soon as something like Appearance or Software Centre is open, which has no menu bar, then there is a difference in colour between the Metacity decoration and the rest of the window.

I have no knowledge of creating themes, so I wonder if that could be adjusted? So that no matter whether there is a menu bar or not, it always looks unified?

    Thanks!
    Etienne

I love your theme, can you make a theme with colors similar to this: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Moondust?content=124578?

I figured colors can't be changed completely.

    thanks
