Description:

Sorry for the name change...the theme I formerly uploaded as "Aerolite" has had its name changed to Giacobini.

The reason for the change? Thanks to the new Fusions theme, I was able to create a true Vista-like panel. Other than that this theme is identical to Giacobini (the old Aerolite), but I thought the name fit the newer, more Vista-like version better.

Changelog:

0.1 - First release. Sorry for the confusion. Remember: Aerolite for the Vista-like panel, Giacobini for the "regular" one!

0.2 - Added GtkButton::child_displacement_x/y properties so clicking a button looks to have a bit more response.

0.3 - Modified default buttons to match panel button pixmaps.

Looks good so far. ;) Maybe you should delete the old Version, so people will take your new work.

 Some feedback

Hi there, I found your theme very cool and I guess I'll stick with it for my new desktop. However, it has some issues as well as many dark themes have.
First of all, and it doesn't have anything to do with being dark, it's that the vertical gradient you use for the panel doesn't fit for vertical panels. Anyone can rotate it 90º and set it as custom background. The real issue here is the notification area icons set the original background instead of the custom one. My crappy fix is to comment the "bg_pixmap[NORMAL]" line in gtkrc file. Then I set the backgrounds manually and it works as expected except for the warnings about the missing bg_pixmap property (gtk newbie, I assume there's a proper way to do it).
Second, I have not been able to fix the common gtk dark themes Firefox's issues. I get black background text boxes and select widgets, white ticks on white selection widgets, white fonts over white background so you can imagine it renders it quite unusable. I tried with some custom userContent.css I found that claimed to fix this problem but the didn't. Any suggestion? By the way, it happens to Gmail notifier too, it switches to white font despite of keeping the white background.
Third, I'd like the panel main menu to show the custom background when idle. Any idea on how to do this?

Thank you very much. Great work!
