Here is how you do it:
1. ALT+F2
2. Open the file from YOUR HOME FOLDER /.themes/LUX_avant-garde/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml
3. Change this:

<window type="normal" style_set="normal"/>
<window type="dialog" style_set="frame"/>
<window type="modal_dialog" style_set="frame"/>
<window type="menu" style_set="border"/>
<window type="utility" style_set="border"/>

to this:
<!-- ¤ WINDOW TYPES ¤ -->
<window type="normal" style_set="normal"/>
<window type="dialog" style_set="normal"/>

I love this theme too. I think you will be able to modify the Metacity theme for your need.
The only change you need to do is to change the last lines in the Metacity theme file that is set to 'border' styles and replace it with 'normal' style. They are assigned to handle dialogs. I will also put the exact code on the knowledge base tab of this theme. |

I can share your opinion. Murrine is an excellent engine and the look of the theme is pretty much depends on my ability that I can use all what this engine can handle. |
