Notification Theme
Jan 31 2009  on content Shiki-Colors

Heh. And another thing - using this with Ubuntu, you still get the hideous Human colours in tooltips. If you add NotificationTheme=bubble to the index.theme, they get GTK theme colours and look SOOO much better. Don't know if this would cause any other issues, but works just fine here.

Cool - no probs. Thanks for the theme, and thanks for being on hand to answer questions! Hope you get on-board with the Ubuntu guys (although I read somewhere that Shuttleworth has hired some dudes to do it, and that he *loves* orange...).

Genius. Thanks - i've been so obsessed with optimising vertical workspace, I completely missed that! Looks way better now - I can live with the loss of a few pixels. Next up: I guess it's a Firefox issue with the ugly box around the address bar and search box?

Hiya. Beautiful theme - the script worked perfectly. Just wanted to ask - when I hover over buttons in Firefox, I get a nasty white background - is this a known issue, or have I done something daft?

Thanks again!

Grr. Yeah, Gnome here. Thanks for the reply!

Panel decoration
Jan 8 2009  on content Shinobi

Hi - love your theme. There's only a few dark themes that make text readable, yours is one. One question though - my panel looks rubbish compared to your screenshot - have I missed something there? Enabling transparency on the panel just leaves the window-list and the notification area opaque...

Thanks for your hard work.

Very nice!

This GTK looks great - I think the grey text might look a little better if it were a couple of shades whiter (or bluer?). It looks a little like 'in-active' or 'greyed-out' text at the moment. Otherwise, can't wait to give it a go!

It's not just me???
Jul 18 2008  on group it's not play button

It's nice to see that there are some great artists in this group... so I know the (admittedly rubbish) stuff i've put up isn't the only content that gets voted down without explanation. Immensely frustrating the way ratings bounce back and forth with no comments whatsoever.

Kudos to the group creator.

more ideas.
Jul 5 2008  on group Planux

More thoughts... just because i'm bored:
1. You should put all of the most popular free games on, ready to play - even if that means a DVD distro.

2. You might be better off *not* using the Ubuntu moniker... Why not decide on your final distro packages, find a theme that no other distro uses as its own, and give it a new name. How about Planux? (www.planux.org is available, and would probably be fairly cheap)... or any name you like. I'm pretty sure Ubuntu already has a couple of gaming versions anyway - one that is meant to run of live disc to get Windows Gamers to play.

Regards

CD Creation...

You should have a look at http://reconstructor.aperantis.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=14&Itemid=37 reconstructor - it should be the exact thing you're looking for. With regards to the distro itself, what kinds of things do you plan to change/exclude/include? Who will v1.0 be aimed at?
