Thanks. I like the theme as is, but please feel free to change it in any way you wish and upload modified versions of it -- I would be delighted if you and others take this theme in all kinds of different directions. |

ingolemo -- I just uploaded a new version of your metacity theme here: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=116529 -- changes include: (1) fixed all edges; (2) replaced the up-down button animations with subtle highlights on hover and click; and (3) added visible buttons to all unfocused windows. I couldn't quickly figure out how to fix the title-bar gradient (which ends a bit too abruptly with some color schemes), so I left it as is. Hope this is helpful.

Excellent results for a first attempt at recreating the 'Ubuntu Sun' mock-ups; this is now my desktop's theme. Thank you for doing this. In the spirit of helping, here's my feedback: (1) the white edges of the top two corners look less transparent than the white edges of the top and sides of windows, and therefore are oddly brighter; (2) hovering and/or clicking on the minimize/maximize/close buttons result in odd down-up animations; and (3) on the left side of the title-bar, the gradient transition from window background color to selected color is not smooth as in the mockups, though this is IMHO much less of an issue. |
