Since it's clean, but also available for GTK and GTK2.

 GALAXY

I do really like mandrake's GALAXY style/theme....

It's the standant style of Mandrake9.1

I also like alloy and i used to use keramik when i still used Mandrake9.0

I love the idea of Thin Keramik but, afterall i don't really like it ....

BTW: why isn't "galaxy" in the list of styles? it's opensource isn't it; so everybody that runs KDE can install it; not only the MDK users....

I agree, galaxy is a great, and often under-rated theme. Having a well-done GTK counterpart is great, too. However, I voted for alloy, which I find to be slightly better. The main difference is that there are a few small display bugs in galaxy -- largely (I think) due to the fact that it's a pixmap theme. It doesn't quite obey colours well enough, and alloy looks just that little bit cleaner :)

One nice touch in both of these themes is that they have both done something about that damn ugly splitter bar :) (something both keramiks need to work on)

But all in all, galaxy is a beautiful theme; much better (IMHO) than RedHat's BlueCurve.

But, to get hold of the source you need to join MandrakeClub...and as a Debian user I 'm not interested in paying $30 for a theme...

Thin Keramik Rulez... :)
it is a mod, yes, but now it has too many improvements, i mean it is much more configurable.

but i realy LOVE having a variety of styles to choose. the more the best..
