For anyone who doesn't know, you can change your kde.org colour style here:

You can also simply use your favourite browser's facility to change the style sheet, eg. "View/use Style Sheet" (or similar, back-translated from the German "Ansicht/Stilvorlage verwenden") in Konqueror.

Greetings,

It's good to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that the default style (KDE Window Colors) is not the best. I don't like the gray background of it and maybe the kde-www team might change the default style after seeing this poll to something else or get rid of that gray and use a nicer color.

I hope not! I like it more with those gray parts. Too many colours diminish readability. That's one of the things I like from kde-look also.

I don't have anything against gray per se, but the way it is used on kde.org. The gray directly hits the main white part of the document, which I think is ugly. If they would make the sidebars boxed as found here on kde-look or tomshardwareguide.com it would be an improvement, IMHO.
But I guess you can't argue about taste :-).

Truthfully I think this gray look is really old and it looks like it was designed in the 1990's which it may have been. My favorite style is "yellow", but my favorite colors are in "blue, mellow" which is what I voted for. kde-look really needs to update their design.

The default color scheme reminds me of the MS Windows Homepage.

Or is it just me paranoid?

It seems that the yellow style doesn't show a lot of interest, but it would have received my vote if they had choosen a better font for it.

if you use mozilla firebird you can get an extention that switches style sheets faster than using the web based changer
