I'll tell you one thing it's not: As good as KDE 3.5.10!

I agree with you, KDE4 rocks!
I choosed "Usability" however, since all the other points finally results in a better usability.

Though I love KDE4 and the ideas/design behind it but... It cant be usable unless it is stable.
I'm using KDE 4.2.3 but I get many crashes and/or unusual behaviours particularly when I'm playing with widgets on plasma.

Look and feel is the only thing that really improved since KDE 3.5.

 Integration

The key advantage of KDE has always been the integration of the core elements (KIO, KWallet, Klipper, etc.), and with KDE 4, many more core technologies are there to be used (I will not list them, you know them all).

When in a few years all those technologies are fully used, the workflow on the KDE desktop will be amazing, and incomparable to anything else.

Basically I see it as a disadvantage. KDE wants to provide a full-featured desktop without using any external applications. It has its own web browser, office suite etc. These are much less stable than their popular counterparts, such as Firefox or OpenOffice, and it also draws lots of energy to develop these applications instead of using what is already available (and porting them to QT/KDE). That's why has GNOME been always more stable than KDE.

I use KDE 4 right now, except for some applications like Firefox, Thunderbird and OpenOffice. As for 4.2.3, it is rather stable too, but I'm considering to switch back to GNOME because of performance issues. However, there are some KDE applications which I would always use even under GNOME, such as Kate, Krusader or Kopete.
