In my case, people already know that I use Linux and usually just say: "Holly crap! You never said it's THAT beautiful!"

But on at least one occasion I got a "I want that! NOOOOOW!!!" ...at the last occasion it was because a friend of mine was struck by the sheer inventive genius that is KTeaTime.

p.s. Yea, a Linux system without KTeaTime is not a KDE system in my opinion. ...I haven't changed this view in years and still don't intend to :P

hello

usually, not many people who dot know linux visit my pc, but when they see it and i tell them about it, they´re fascinated..

(un)fortunately, i saw linux first on a pc of my classmate and wanted the UBER-wobbling windows by beryl at once. i sent win to hell, installed openSUSE 10.2 and two months later (that´s the time i needed to get my rt61 + wpa2 WLAN to run) i finally got them. so far, i don´t use them often now, but i discovered many other things to make my computer have an advantage to Vista. And till today, nobody of my class switched to vista without having seen the nice sides of linux. i think this sites (kde-****.org) are not unresponsible for that.

greetz joe
