Finally the konqueror bug that always caused deleted carriage returns in some forms (wikis, kde-apps/look.org etc.) is fixed. That's fine. Also i notice some improvement in the blocking of ads. But I'd rather like to use KDE 3.5.1 with KMail of 3.4.3 because in KMail 1.9.1 of KDE 3.5.1 I cannot flag my mails manually as "replied" anymore. And some other flags have gone too for manual use like marking the mails as spam or ham.

How can I use the KMail of 3.4.3 with KDE 3.5.1? I guess it is not possible. One thing i really dislike about KDE, too much applications are bound to the base.

Want excellent hardware recognition and an easy way to install Debian Sid? Get KANOTIX!

It is.... my father is doing that. Simply downgrade the Kmail package

I've got a thousand problems when ONLY updating the KDE core and libs. Even when they ship a new SP at Windows, they recompile even the smallest app, like the calculator. You've got to update your entire system! You've got nothing to loose, not even time, because you can still use your programs during the update! (at least with deb and yum, dunno about the others).

Could this be it? Yes, some apps crash at exit, but only those that are very old, and I quite never use them...
