 Imagining

Score 50%

I'm imagining what life will be like with a usable and stable KDE/Cygwin:

I'll still have to use Outlook instead of KMail because my employer demands it. I'll still have to use Internet Exploder instead of Konqueror (or even Mozilla/Firefox) becauase my employer demands it. Then there's probably several other employer-required apps that won't work correctly with kwin, kicker or kdesktop. And even if I surmount those hurdles, there's still a dictatorial IT department telling me what I can or cannot use on the desktop.

Which leaves me only my home system to use KDE/Cygwin on. But why would I do that when I have a perfectly acceptable FreeBSD/Xorg environment for KDE?

Sorry to be such a stick-in-the-mud, as I'm sure this would be the perfect solution to a lot of problems. But it's just not a solution to any of mine.
