Damn this time there aren't any packages for slackware, so i'm stuck with beta1 (I don't want to recompile!)

This bug has resurfaced after 3.3.2 release. I sincerely hope the amazing team of KDE developers fixes this for 3.4 ... it would be a pity to use any other browser only to access gmail.com mail account!

I really don't like the tool tips animation or style.
I haven't dug very deep but if there is no option to revert back
to the plain box and fade in/out there should be.

Of course there is an option, don't be silly ;) You turn it off in the same place you used to turn off the icon zooming that no longer exists (which is Panel settings -> Layout -> Look, the General frame, the left check box).
