 Nvidia

At least these card manufacturers give us drivers. That doesn't mean I'm happy about closed source, but I give Nvidia a nod for giving us pretty good drivers.

ATI when is working, but thats not very often. I never hear 200 thraeds on problems with the nvidia drivers, but i think every distro needs a section of their forums just for the ATI driver complaints.

Now if i can just get the money to buy an nvidia card...

I've heard no complaints about the Open Source Radeon DRI drivers. If you're not a gamer, they're more than adequate.

hahahahahaha :)
But seriously, I agree that at least intel based chipset's are not in the top five.

I find ATI's the best, when it works :)

bye,

 ATI love/hate

I voted NVidia. However I really like ATI cards (except the dreaded Radeon 9000). I've noticed that ATI always gets left out. For example with Cedega/WineX, many of the games won't play, and I'm left with messages that say, not supported by ATI cards.

A recent review in LXF magazine, confirmed this, and perceives thatthis is because ther are more NVidia card users on Linux, that will vote inforums for support

If there's any big ATI card users out there, go forum-bashing, and make you voice heard
