Hi Sylten,

sorry. This was not my intention. However, if you look on the result, you can see that the Majority of the users are even below 35. If the system would allow more than 10 possible options, I would have provided more possibilites. I could have used steps of 10 years, but then the outcome of the poll would have been that 80% of the visitors are between 20 and 30. Not a meaningful result, or what do you think?

I think you should rather take as a compliment, that you are one of the rare people who is still interested in stuff that seems to be dominated by much younger people. And I really do not want to insult you. Instead I admire you for beeing still active in the computer world. I don't know anybody who made it in IT until your age without becoming a manager.

Hehe. :-)

But really; I have accomplished more in politics during my three years as politician than I have during 13 years as programmer.

Now send me those JJ, this situation can't go on..

 Age poll insulting!

I think it's insulting and downright stupid! The age is incremented in groups of five years, and highest stops at 50. I'm 52 and feel I haven't reached the middle of my life for a long time yet. I wonder if someone with the brains of G.W.B invented this poll...

Please read my response above. I accidentially replied to the wrong posting.

And BTW: I consider "beeing a Dinsaur" in the IT world as a compliment. Please accept my apologies, if you feel insulted by this term.

I think a follow up poll would be appropriate asking if you lied in this poll.
