New community site for the great Beryl windowmanager launched today.



Beryl-Themes.org (update)

Today we launched a new Sister-Site dedicated to the great Windowmanager Beryl. Beryl-Themes.org will be the central community site where users and developers can exchange themes, ideas, wallpapers, screenshots and configuration-settings for Beryl.

The Emerald theme category is shared with gnome-look.org and kde-look.org

In preparation for the Beryl/Compiz merge I created Compiz-Themes.org as a twin sister website to Beryl-Themes.org
At the moment, the content is the same.

It would be also good if some kde-apps (which aren't kde-dependant) would be cleaned out and moved into qt-apps.org and qt-prop.org.

I would like more filters in the filter box, if it would be possible. Or better yet - if it would be possible to choose in your user settings which content you do or don't want to see.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does not use Beryl and would therefore not want to see the gazillion Beryl windecos in "All" view - to me it's just as annoying as screenshots and more then wallpapers.

p.s. It's sad that there are so many Beryl themes being done and not nearly enough native KWin decorations.
