Comic Sans needs banned.

Anyways what is the groups stance on well designed Ubuntu wallpapers? One's that are not just a logo slapped on someone else's wallpaper. Something like this:

I know it is Kubuntu but I think the policy of don't slap a logo on someone else's work, make it look like trash and post it as your own should be for every distro.

If something is bad or just imitates other things it should be rated bad, I think those "artists" should think twice before uploading their crappy work XD

and it wouldn't surprise me that there are some people on gnome-look who do nothing but bitch and troll and vote people's good work badly to give themselves a sense of superiority to compensate for their own pathetic-ness in real life.

...which is exactly why he recommended making comments mandatory for bad votes. That way people can give their opinion in detail beyond just saying its bad, and hopefully giving the creator ways to improve.

why dont a guy that makes visual polution dont have to justifie before he even submits it so i can vote it if is good or bad?

even the idea of making people say why they vote is ridicilus! its the same thing to make people justifie when they vote someone for president!

exemple: yes i voted bush because i really am a fracking robot and i cant make a self judegment of my own brains, so i think bush will lead my country to peace, prosperaty and well beeing!

are you agreeing with me?

people SHOULD justify who they vote for, at least with themselves, so that they can be sure they have a legit reason for their vote and just because they are "a fracking robot"

don't get me wrong, it would be ludicrously stupid to have everyone vote good; it would make no sense at all. but for someone to work hard on something only to be rated bad by people simply because he started a certain group, thats just childishness that should not be tolerated in a community of linux users. credit should be given where credit is due.

second, we are talking about tastes!

what you consider to be good, others may consider to be bad, what you consider to be beautifull other consider to be awfull, and that my friend is not "someone beeing stupid", that is the nature of each one of us, we are all DIFFERENT AND WE SEE WHAT SOROUND US IN A DIFFERENT WAY!

So, you CANNOT make someone justifie the reson why he is voting something "bad" just because the reson that for him, that same thing does not look good(in this case).

And you got another point here, you want to make people comply with a "MASTER NEW GNOME-LOOK ORDER" the "Law Of The Gnome-look Voting Justification" what da Faaaaaack???????? what about free speech and free will, dont i have the right to think that "this" or "that" sux?

this in my point of view goes against OPEN SOURCE mentality, and directly against free will, freedom!
