I join the group cuz i want to see on this site more creativity for ALL GNU/Linux systems.

I'm not using Ubuntu : i want GNU/Linux Art for all !

Ubuntu fanboys remember me Micro$oft fanboys ... are you the sames guys ?...

Another thing : there are too many copyrighted contents release under GPL : WTH ?!
( for exemple with Vista logo or others ...)
dont want to see Vistaish & Macish anymore !

Stop ripping copyrighted design : be original plz :(

I love Linux because IS Linux.

your totaly right my friend! the problem is that the new "Avalanche" of ubuntu users are the recently joined Vista and XP-exusers.

thats why Gnome (witch i love) is beeing infested with this junk people copying microshit vistabullshit stupid horrible logos and design, these are the same people who only care about the "looks", they dont actualy know whats underneith a linux system.

dont take whrong, im a ubuntu user, and the most valuable thing i like in ubuntu/debian is the packet manager(im not talking about synaptic witch is gnome interface) im talking about "apt" witch is the most inteligent packet manager in my opinion.

but i het to see ubuntu logos or any kind of logo in a design, (i dont mind beeing gnome logo though) and the vista look like GTKs and macish i het it and i dont want it!!!!!!!!!!!

WE GOT TO GET THESE COPYRIGHTS VISTA-MICROSOFT-MACHISH BASTARDS OUT OF HERE, AND I KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING, BECAUSE TEHRE ARE NOT MODERATORS/ADMINS CONTROLLING WHO AND WHAT IS POSTED HERE!!!

TOTaL RESISTANCE AGAINST THIS FUCKING IMPERIALISM BIATCHES WITCH IS MICROBULLSHIT PEOPLE!!!

you cant expect poobuntu users that are migrating from M$ to actually know that their art isnt GPL 99% of the time. I doubt theyve ever even glanced at the GPL.

Checking over kde-look they don't seem to have the same ubuntu flood as gnome-look. I really wonder that there's a swag of ubu users who don't know that GNOME is not ubuntu. Don't know why else they feel the need to brand everything they touch.

Thankfully, they can't drown out all the good original artwork that gets posted here.

I think this group is the most stupid thing I saw on the linux community. Don't you have something better to do ? create artwork and s** your mouths. If you don't like ubuntu wallpapers don't download them it's that simple. Why hating a distro ? or judging its users ?? It's a community guys ! All of us like linux. Some people are happy to have discovered ubuntu and they express it. It's better than to have an empty gnome looks with only one or two frustrated geeks. stop the hatred !

Its just a reaction to the hijacking of linux by ubu-ers. They still don't seem to realise that its GNU/linux and want to brand it all into the one culture of ubuntu.

Its not against Ubuntu, just the plebs who think Ubuntu IS GNU/linux. Its the rage against it all becoming a mono-culture.

Also, GNOME isn't bland, (well at first it is), they is some truly great artwork here for it. Let it not be swamped.

Perhaps its time for moderators to step in as in art.gnome.org.

Its also stupid that all of these poobuntu users think this distro is all that and a bag of chips becuse of a gnome settings and the use of 'sudo' (as if it takes more than a few minutes to set that up on probably any other bsd or linux box....

in my opinion, all these new poobuntu fanboys are with no doubt microshit vista users. the worst thing about these kind of users is that they dont give a flying about what is behind the OS, no sir, "the looks" is all that matters, so these stupid irritating mindless, with a huge lack of design concept and imagination mofos, try to sell theyr shit and theyr tinny mentality to ll the old-school linux comunity. This has never been seen before, iv never saw so many stupidity around in any linux comunity. i have my opinions and my likes and my deslikes but i dont just go selling them like retard branding it with half naked women imitating something that is allready invented!

It is defenetly time to forum moderators and admins step up with this nonsense, this is ruining this linux comunity, the design is beeing worst and worst every time i open the site, the number of gtks , wallpapers, icons, etc imitating windows vista or mac osx is disgusting, everyone calls them self a artist because they pickup a wallpaper that was allready made by someone, and stick in a ubuntu logo, a half naked women and wright "ubuntu black sexy" and they are artists, i mean this got to stop, this is ridicules!!!

Just my opinion,
I use Ubuntu to. Ubuntu is just a way for many people to get to know Linux. But I'm not some stupid mofo thinking the look is Linux and I indeed disgust OSX and Vista themes. I'm using ubuntu for a half year now.

What I'm trying to say here. Don't speak bad about ubuntu, because it's great. The stupid wallpapers and looks associated with it are crap indeed. But it is a good distro. btw I studie IT so I'm not one of those retards who don't know anything about the core of Linux.

i understand what u say, i sayd allready, i do use ubuntu and debian and centos and slackware, and i do like ubuntu. the point is not about the OS, the point is about a way of thinking that many are trying to ruine. the problem is the way od treating and respecting others, one must understand that this is not like, or even close to a windows comunity and anyone must respect that, if we want windows, we use it, but we dont, and we dont like it, so everybody must respect it.

We on the other hand, dont have to respect that others flood and DDOS gnome-look.org with this disgusting BRANDED GTKs, ICONs,and GDMs, even if its not ubuntu, understand??? the point is not ubuntu, i think everyone here is with me, if the problem was happening with fedora, we would stand with the same speech got it? and the other problem is originality, what happened to original creation???? only God can do it? i guess this is the main point to those people who indeed have mental farts like: "ima gonna does a wallpaper withz a girlz on it and stamp it with a ooboontu logo and wright ooboontu on it and ill be a designerz00r l33t0rz" the same applies to vistaish and machish gtks, icons and gdms. This is starting to look like a mormon church, i dont give a frack about it and i dont wanna ear itand YOU HAVE TO RESPECT IT.

so resuming, if you want to flood any brand wallpappers, gtks, icons, and gdms, i sugest you do it elsewere because this is GNOME-LOOK.ORG NOT ubuntu, nor debian, nor fedora.
