Just been visiting over at deviantart. Noticed the new redesigns of 'ubuntu' (gnome-themes). What an insult to the gnome/gtk devs to label gnome as ubuntu. I'm sure, however, Canonical Ltd is very happy to tacitly take the credit for others' work.

Oh wow, still not impressed. Was that supposed to be an attempt at a zing now? OpenSlowlaris ..lol...Ive seen people die waiting on Slowlaris to install on anything but a sparc. BTW: A Few other OSs have ZFS support as well..and are much better than opensolaris. Again..still not impressed. Try again...ubuntu boy.

Yeah will go back to windows now, it's better than unix..
Linux can't even run flash properly without 100% cpu use, or supply decent vga drivers.

Will play some games...mw2 etc
Don't even mention wine.
much more fun than talking os.

It's such a waste having modern hardware on unix, just to run firefox and gimp.
will keep ubuntu on my x31 ;)
as is the best distro.
After all I'm a home user not in the server market.

If you were even the least bit smart, you would blame adobe for its problems, as well as nvidia and ati for their problems running on unix like systems. GNU/Linux/xorg developers just create generic drivers, not the proprietary ones, idiot. They can hardly be blamed for adobe, ati, and nvidias faults. BTW: On a simple dual core system running debian testing with 2gb ram, I have yet to see my CPU usage spike to 100% doing anything concerning flash. Get your head out of your ass. Surely you would be able to see those video games better after you do.

Being the idiot i am, got in touch with kate's mum..To my dismay she does not use Ubuntu :(
Kates mum has never heard of Ubuntu or Linux..but says Mac is best :)
So have packed my PC and put in the loft.
Moved on to Android :)

Off to The Great British Beer Festival to drown my sorrows.
