Description:

Yeah, this is a group where I thought we could post
screenshots of our desktops. Why? well, I like looking
at other ppl's desktops and configurations, they give me
Ideas I can't possibly have with my current IQ.

So please! if you have a very nice desktop, don't be shy,
put it up here!

please use bbcode when u post, makes it easier for
other users to view ur screenshot, just put "[url]" in
front of the link and "[/url]" after... then it will look
like this http://www.link.to.ur.amazing.screenshot.html
Thank u for ur consideration!

services one can use to upload pics and then share the link:

Arch Linux on my laptop with Openbox and a Tint2 panel. Nothing breathtaking 'cause I just want it to be really fast.

Help me find this image! :D

Hi all,

I have a background image I had on my Ubuntu machine in 2006/2007. The hard drive's long fried and I don't remember where I got the image from. I think it might have been kde-look or one of these types of sites.

I've tried searching lots of keywords but not been able to find the image. Can anyone help please?

Please note that I've censored the image to what I believe is within community guidelines.

If I'm not able to post this image here, could someone please let me know and maybe point me to another site that may be able to help?

Thanks!

looks cool :)

Ic you have nautilus-elementary, it is
indeed nice! I even read someplace on the
web that it gives "dolphin a run for its
money"... well, I put that to a small
test, here you see a customized dolphin
and a customized nautilus with breadcrumbs...
...I dunno, nautilus is nice and all, but
still looks a little too.. ... i dunno...
..."gnomey" ;D

Decided to go with something lighter than I usually do.. openbox, debian testing, conky, irssi, lxpanel instead of tint2, found the wallpaper here..I usually dont go for branded wallpapers..but I thought this one was neat and original.
