put it up here!

please use bbcode when u post, makes it easier for
other users to view ur screenshot, just put "[url]" in
front of the link and "[/url]" after... then it will look
like this http://www.link.to.ur.amazing.screenshot.html
Thank u for ur consideration!

Its nice, it looks like you put a bit of effort into it. I'm not much on wood themes though, wood belongs in furniture and overpriced SUVs. Still its great if you're into wood. I'm into darker colors and a more minimalist look.

Other good one what I use is http://simplest-image-hosting.net/ It is used in pastebin -widget and so on uploading image (photo or screenshot) is easy as just draggin it over a widge, example in the panel.

Uploading a screenshot goes just by draggin it from ksnapshot over widget. Of course this works only in KDE Plasma Desktop.

Im not using a terminal IM client. I am using irssi for irc, in case you havent bothered to notice the group IRC Chat, me and TheRob are trying to get #opendesktop to pick up on the irc network I host on irc.sindustries.org. If I were to use a console IM client, it would be centerim, finch (pidgins cli attempt) is a clumsy piece of crap. But I could use bitlbee with irssi if i felt like it. Instead I just stick with plain pidgin.

Seriously, you folks should come idle with me and TheRob on irc.sindustries.org in #opendesktop , i though a chatroom would benefit alot of you folks here. Its run off of my own dedicated machine hosted by corenetworks.net, 100Mbit connection, charybdis ircd, atheme irc services (basically the same thing FreeNode uses), and denora irc stats.

Other channels of interest where people can be found talking a bit more would be #brewery #troll #lobby and I am also trying to get a #nexuiz channel going as i run a nexuiz deathmatch server from the same dedi, its an awesome free FPS. My nickname is mike there. Come by for a visit! We are friendly, competent, and our server is fast and reliable. Hope to see you folks there soon! Stick around and idle! Those who show the most interest and help get the #opendesktop (or really any channel you feel like opening yourselves) Ill be willing to provide a free BNC account for.

instant messaging IS chat.

do you need to wait a while (over 10 or so seconds) before you get the message?

if not, then it's INSTANT (technically not, but u know what i mean.)

and sending messages is chatting.

btw, please be polite.

And no, IRC is not instant messaging. Perhaps you should stop by and we can show you the differences :) There are quite a few.

I started keeping a gallery recently of screenshots...i managed to dig up some that are a bit old also..

Yes, some of them are even of the crappy kde4! (gotta run it once or twice to know why I hate it and be able to intelligently discuss why I hate right? :P )

Included are fluxbox, openbox, xfce4, E17, gnome, kde3 and kde4..running on all sorts of distributions of linux or flavors of BSD...I still will only run debian testing exclusively on my main desktop... :P
