GKLinuxOS 2.0 Gnome

What is GKLinuxOS 2.0
It is a source operative system that anyone may freely copy, modify and distribute.

GKLINUXOS is based on PCLinuxOS 2009, of which it preserves the fundamental
structure. It is complete of perfectly working programs, in degree to satisfy the different
demands of whom works with the computer (packets office, professional programs of
graphics and drawing, multimedial audio-video programs, programs for internet and so
many others still).
Here a list of the programs more used:
1) The suite OpenOffice that containing: OpenOffice Writer (word processor),
OpenOffice Calc (electronic sheet), OpenOffice Drawing (vectorial draw), OpenOffice
Impress (Presentations), OpenOffice Writer/web (web editor).
2) The suite Koffice that containing: KWord (word processor), KSpread (electronic
sheet), Karbon 14 (vectorial drawing), krita (drawing), KPresenter (Presentations),
KChart (graphics), Kivio (flow chart), Kugar (report), KFormula (editor of formulas), Kexi
(database).
3) Others office programs: KPDF (pdf documents format), KCalc (calculator),
KAddressBook (address book), KFax and KFaxView, KPilot and Kontact (planner),

(word editor).

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) In this GKLinuxOS version the program Synaptic has been eliminate, because the use
of the same may cause problems at the system (it may eliminates util programs and
libraries). We recommend not installing Synaptic (only expert users may use Synaptic)
and to utilize the program KPackage or GKPackage, thas will be available in the next
versione or may be downloaded from www.gklinuxos.net soon).
2) All programs included in GKLinuxOS are complete and working, and we never include
programs in beta phase.
3) The uploads will be published in the website www.gklinuxos.net and it may be
downloaded and installed by GKPackage from next versione onwards.
4) We accept improvement proposals. Valid proposals will utilized and included in new
versions of GKLinuxOS.
