Description:

A refeshing look to one of the most popular Ubuntu themes created. There are several new features in the Nodoka engine created by Daniel Geiger and Martin Sourada. The buttons and progressbar shadows have a smoother and dimensional feel. The gradients are also more apparent. Dotted focus lines are also gone. There are three new styles to the engine including (CLASSIC, MODERN, and GLOSSY).

Needs testing please advise. Initial release.

Great theme, but it does not work 100% with the lastest gtk2-engines-nodoka v0.7.1-0ubuntu1 in ubuntu 8.10.

You have to remove the current nodoka engine provided in the Ubuntu repositories and install the git version with the instructions above.

Very good theme! I like the new nodoka features.

 No focuss at all

The look is fantastic.
I've done the git thing.
But, I have no focus visualizations at all, so the theme is only usable via mouse.

I think that is an issue of contrast. This laptop has a wonderful screen, but which has some contrast issues. I'll check tomorrow in another monitor.

Thank you.

I've been working on this for a few days and was really amazed at the professional look of this engine. I plan on making a lighter Ubuntu Human style theme with this newer engine when I get some more free time.

Hi!

I have the same problem. I can't install in ubuntu 8.10.

Everything is all right before the .configure step of your instructions.

In the last line of the console appears this error (for that command):

config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in

 Just one thing

Theme is exceptional. There's just one obvious thing that I want to be changed here: the scrollbars. It's difficult to perfect the dust style scrollbars. Please use the classic Nodoka scrollbars instead or simply have another version of the theme with the Nodoka scrollbars. The dust style scrollbars don't look polished to me because the buttons don't seem to be in the center and the up buttons seem to be bigger than the down buttons because when I scroll to the top-most part, there's a bigger space for the up button than the down button.

Excellent theme, though. I hope, more people realize the beauty of modern Nodoka.
