Description:

Theme based on Clearlooks and Pixmap engines, however there is used also Mist engine but it's not required.

Emerald theme included.

Since it's a first release it might be bugged somewhere.
Let me know about some bugs or ideas, everything would be helpful.

If you must vote down leave a comment so I can improve it!

Changelog:

0.3 - added pixmap menu lines
0.2 - removed unnecessary code
0.1 - public release

 More compact?

It's excellent in general, but do you think it could be crunched down a little?

I'm not sure what means "crunched down a little" so could you explain it?

Sorry, I tend to use odd phrases like that.

Anyway, I mean things like make the blank space in tabs smaller, push the menu headers together, things like that. Shrink the blank space. Take a look at, for example, Clearlooks-flat-compact for an idea of how one can reduce "wasted space".

It's just a thought, if you find it takes away from the aesthetic of the theme, leave it the way it is. I'm using the theme now and loving it regardless. :)

 Bars not present

Sorry, but the bar below the window menu is not visible on my system, the same with bar below buttons.
I have GNOME 2.22 and Ubuntu 8.04

I see that you intentionaly did not add those horizontal bars. But it is a bit messy and gives the impression of unfinished theme. Maybe for some people who like order you might add those bars.
Or perhaps you plan to add them in further versions...

I disagree. It makes it look unified rather than as though the bars are separate pieces glued together. One reason I like such themes.

I see :)

I dont care for bars below menu - current integrated look is nice. But I would like to see the horizontal bar separating grey area of buttons/menu and bright area of folders.
Maybe it is a matter of adding one line in gtkrc (take it from clearlooks), but I don't know how to do it.
Could someone help me, please?

I am writing about this dark thin line separating folders area and upper part of window. It is a detail, but to me it changes a lot :)
Is it posible to add it in gtkrc by simple command(s)?

Thank You in advance for replay!

I don't remember which one it is so try to comment "#" or delete one of these lines:

GtkToolbar ::shadow-type = GTK_SHADOW_NONE
GtkMenuBar ::shadow-type = GTK_SHADOW_NONE
