Description:

Dust is a concept for a new, refreshing look for Ubuntu. The idea was to take the defining aesthetic elements of Ubuntu and remix it into something clean, modern, functional, and unique.

It's a new take on the Ubuntu aesthetic using a dark palette and subtle colors.

 I'm shocked

I'm shocked at how low the score of this theme is. As a deskmoder myself, I tell you this is VERY well done, very professional looking, and there's a great concept behind making this suitable for an Ubuntu theme. Even if this is not adopted by default, this theme should exist by itself.

I completely agree, I even had to register on the site (which I have lurked on for quite a while) just to say exactly that, based on years of various theming: this theme is awesome!!
It is my de facto standard theme both at home and at work now.
Thanks. :)

What do you mean, guys? It's score is pretty high compared to the other themes here :) Check out the highest-rated under GTK2.x.

Hehe, right you are, the score isn't "bad", however when I voted for it there were a bunch of themes with the same score, barely separating it from quite a few other themes that aren't, in my mind, as good (by quite a distance in some cases). Now there is a small gap to the "other" themes. I think it should be bigger. :D

 I can't get those scrollbars

Hi,
I love this theme. Finally we have a very nice and professional looking theme thas is not a copy of Mac OS X...
Well done!
I'm just a little bit disappointed that Ubuntu has not included it by default in the new release 8.10...

BTW, I only have a problem: I've installe d it and all the other variants that you can get from the site, however, even trying all variants installed, I can't get the same scroll bars as shown in the preview image above. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks in advance!
