Very nice wp & icons. other than that it's just plain buggy bloated ugly as hell gnome.
Us real people use a functional feature rich desktop (rara?) and don't have a desktop/server just to showoff or stare at the whole day.

It makes ne sense to compare gnome & kde by their look, since both are themifiable.

One can just rip all icons from this theme and make Kde look like gnome, it is easy.

yeah but then its a rippoff again. well the gnome 2 core has changed drastically. a lot of changes a lot of unifying the system etc.

only sideeffect is that you dont get MUCH news with gnome 2 the first time you start it up you think its still gnome 1.

You can't just rip these icons unless KDE has SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) support...

(Don't really know if it has...)

there is a non-scalable theme for gnome intended for slow computers. Nothings prevent you to rip it for non-scalable KDE icons... as long as you deserve credits to jimmac :)

actually you are not as informed as you want to demonstrate. this .NET idea is junk comming out from that fucking fag and toilet cleaner miguel de icaza because of saying this on all places he made a lot (and i say a lot) of people angry. a lot of gnome developers are so damn pissed about him that they really like seeing his FACE dead in the grounds. well he is just some noisemaker nothing else. he actually contributed a lot of lines for gnome 1 and for gnome 2 he didnt write one single line. he only goes from interview to interview and poses around.

you shouldnt give a fuck about what that guy says not to mention that SUN puts a lot of money into the arse of gnome i doubt they want to kill their own java with C# think one second about this.

...but i don't expect them very useable on my poor slow comp. if i'd used gnome, i will prefer probably these (by the same author - jimmac):

yes, jimmac is great graphics designer - one of the best i ever seen on net - and he choosed gnome. anyway there are great artists (everaldo) contributing to KDE too - some links to their cool work you can find e.g. here:
http://news.kde.org/1012076875/

(btw: _this_ kde-look user miguelicaza - i don't really understand him, what he's looking for here...)
