 Few Problems...

Firstly I just want to comment on what a great job you have done porting the mockup.
It looks fantastic!

I am however getting a few issues, the main one being what I am seeing looks very different to your screenshots -
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/429/lighthb4.jpg
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/8371/greyga8.jpg
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/7929/darkle3.jpg

As you can see, it's odd. The top and bottom pannels change color, firefox on dark setting becomes ugly (too dark) and well...you can see for youself.

I am running a freshly installed version of Ubuntu Hardy Heron so not sure why it's so different.
I don't know if you can fix it?

Also, you have a spelling mistake for the light version when you pick which version to use. Currently it says "ligth".

Thanks again for all your hard work on this, I can't wait to get it all working nicely! :D

I should also add:
A lot of the issues are with text colour, and the colour on rollover too.

Also, when not on dark (my favourite) the borders look odd in the menu on unselected windows (big light line).

Look at the pictures and you will see what I mean.

looks like you're only using the emerald theme. if not, to install, just drag the .tar.gz file into the theme manager (right click desktop, change desktop backgrounc, themes tab)

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

That is exactly what I did, downloaded the theme (not emerald) and dragged it into the theme manager.

I then select clearlooks, and then customise and then click one of the Willibex versions.

AM I missing something here? Perhaps something from synaptic package manager needs installing?

Cheers...

Sory for last comment. I wrote something what we can call a letter to you and then gnome-look told me to login once again and ff forgot everything and I have to write it again.

So. I had two requests for you. I dont wana write it all so Im putting two pics:

http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/4610/868442bt2.png

1) Rows in menus should be smaller. 23 pix is perfect. Now rows in most themes are too big. Nice png icons look beatifull but are a bit user unfriendly when gnome is used on notebook

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/458/868442bt7.png

2) Icons and half of the rows should be darkened. Its much clearer now and searching of elements in big lists is easier.

hi, I read your comment and I've change the height of the menu items, now are more compact, but the dark background for the icons in the menues is complicated because the image is expanded, so some menues look ugly

 Firefox - Fix

Hello,

a good start for a new theme :)

You can fix the mainmenu color with a user CSS for Firefox like:

#tools-menu, #file-menu, #view-menu, #edit-menu,
#history-menu, #bookmarksMenu, #helpMenu {
color:red !important;
}

Much more of that stuff: http://userstyles.org

Keep on!

When I try to install, I receive a message: «Impossible to move the directory over the directory» (in italian «Impossibile spostare la directory sopra la directory»). What's the problem? I'm using Intrepid..is the theme only for Hardy?
