Description:

I made a new port of the Oxygen-style for GNOME.
This is probably the most accurate one that exists.

*Update*

I have read the comments on my blog and here, so I fixed some issues like slightly different bg colors etc. (but still no hover for sliders and check/radio boxes).
I also added a Metacity theme.

Changelog:

-new arrows
-new spinbuttons/spinbutton-entry
-bg-color fixes, button-streching fixes
-new scrollbar background
-removed vertical-lines from comboboxes
-new vertical-range sliders
-checkbutton margin added
-increased thickness of buttons and comboboxes
-removed panelstyle (it's customizable by the user now)
-added Metacity theme
-removed focuslines (uncomment line 21 in the gtkrc file if you want them back)
-new frames

It looks great!
just a few things that could make it more like oxygen:

-the corners of checkboxes/radiobuttons' background is slightly lighter than regular background.

-If I remember correctly, slider, checkboxes, combobox buttons and radiobuttons should glow blue when hovered.

-The corners of glowing buttons also seem to be of a slightly different background, and look somewhat streched.

Other than that, the theme itself is great, and perhaps the best port of Oxygen I've seen. Good job!

 Not nearly perfect yet

I installed this theme and I have to agree, it's just about perfect. However, my gnome weather applet's text is black (as is that of USP slab menu.) Can you tell me how to modify the gtkrc file to correct these problems? Otherwise, the theme really is perfect. Thanks.

 How come...

...people keep porting the ugly KDE4 design to Gnome? It's bad enough XP designs are ported to Linux. The KDE4 GUI look is IMHO so badly designed and uninspiring. Furthermore, it's an insult to the beautiful Mac themes. As straightforward the new KDE4 wants to be with all it's partly useless eyecandy, so backward and boring is the GUI design.

Ah.. So, basically - KDE-ports are bad, XP and Vista-ports are bad, but Mac-ports are good?

Yes.. Lets port all good things Mac while we're at it - Dibs on DRM!

No, not all KDE ports are bad, neither are the XP ports. The Oxgen theme reminds me of Mac GUIs, so I compared it with them. I appreciate the work and craftmanship which brings along themes like that, but i still don't understand what people like with oxygen. IMHO it's ugly and doesn't fit the new KDE look at all. BTW, i wouldn't use mac look-a-likes as well. In fact, after having played with tons of GTK themes, icon sets and Metacities, i came back to classic clearlooks with modified colors and gion iconset.

 Tabs

Hi, are the tabs allright ?

It seems the highlight are turned as for the orientation of tabs. Shouldn't they stay, as to simulate a beamlight ?
