Description:


This is the OpenSolaris default theme - Nimbus. It includes:

- Gtk engine
- Gtk theme
- Metacity theme
- Icons

These are the packages, which I've made with this tuttorial: http://www.vinodlive.com/2007/08/20/make-your-ubuntu-desktop-more-beautiful.

These packages should be compatible with all debian based distributions.

You can get the latest version of the source from http://dlc.sun.com/osol/jds/downloads/extras/nimbus

it is the same in ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04. anyone else?

Actually, no. This shot was made on my laptop, but it's from older version of Nimbus (0.1.1 I think). Yesterday I've notice, that I have the same white lines with the latest version of Nimbus on my Eee PC. Maybe this can be seen only in this version.

rc->dark_menubar_border = nimbus_color_cache_get ("#f4f4f6");

to replace #f4f4f6 on #233154

Its a rip off of OpenSolaris's theme which mimics OS X's theme. Double ripoff = double fail.

Hi, the vertical scrollbars overlap when viewing large documents. This screenshot is from Adobe Reader opening a 600 page document: http://www.codexion.com/files/pdf_reader_nimbus.png

Thank you for providing this theme, it is the best theme I have ever installed.

Is it possible for your to create an update centre and push the deb files into update centre?

This way we will get the updates as fast as you build them.
