Vista feel but some custom widgets...
(Linux is NOT Windows) :)

I upload icon theme soon (if finished...)
XFCE4 theme included!

My only gripe is the Nautilus main menu bar fonts are too small and not italic (the way I've got my menus setup) and the Firefox main menu bar is black on a dark blue background (Very hard to see)... Other than those gripes, it looks very promising!

I'm sorry, but I'm positive that it's not legal even to include "some" widgets. They are copyrighted © Microsoft and they have hired graphical artists for all their work. They are getting payed for. Just don't download and even less upload copyrighted work. This is not free.

People are using Linux because it's free. The truth is, I even switched to Linux because of it. I used a pirated Windows XP, then Jesus saved me, and all the more I felt a bad conscience because of this, because of the Lord. The fact is: The Lord even told me TO switch to Linux. It suddenly appeared a word in my head. "Linux". I had used it before, and had never taken the thought, so I was shocked.

But I find, increasingly, that many Linux users are ignorant of legal stuff. Sometimes, when installing applications, I find that they are not really free, because they may include copyrighted files. I have to remove them manually. Linux should be free. But this isn't.

If you - I'm talking about any user - want those nice window buttons, then either purchase Vista or create an equivalent similar-looking yet not identical set of buttons. Then you may release it under any license.

ranting about "Intellectual Property"?, I think this is not the forum...

I agree with you, some people in the Linux community, doesn't care about copyrights..

But being Windows the most spreaded
Computer Operating System... Have you ever think, How many people and in how many countries use "Pirated" software mainly in Windows?...

Ask Microsoft and the BSA... Millions!

Hi!

All images created by ME!
Not copy and paste, not theft from the micro$oft....
Only one thing: I like Vista look and feel see many Screenshot in the web...
But the icons download the net and create Gnome-Package.. :(
If you and many people not like this, i REMOVE from this site...

If you created the icons (and I believe so) you have nothing to fear.
The iconset is very good, please put it online again and continue working at it! :)

List view header colour is too dark in the version 1.2. Colour in the previous version is much better.

shitty about the M$ deal
(i imagine they were jealous or behind on there work)
i tried vistabut out last week. my hdd with the icons installed died om me, so i came back here to grab the icons and to no avail.

i miss them

If anyone reads this post who has a copy of the vistabut icons please send me a copy mr6500k@gmail.com
