Description:

Fast brushed Clearlooks theme made to loosely resemble OSX Tiger

Contains two variations: classic (fast) and aquastyle with blue decorations and aqualike scrolbars (not so fast), and two subvariations of each: normal and bright for different monitors.

Also it contains different metacity themes: T-ish-Brushed-Glass (now default) and T-ish-Brushed (classical flat). If you are using compizinstall T-ish-Metal compiz theme (link below).

Choose your desired combination through theme details dialog.

DOES NOT WORK WITH CLEARLOOKS-CAIRO !!

Based on Clerlooks engine, Ish GTK theme with additional buttons from Expose and GlossyP metacity borders.

Requires clearlooks engine.

IMPORTANT: In order to install all of the themes you'll have to manually extract to ~/.themes dir.

For best results use OSX icons, jaguax mouse theme, and Brushed firefox skin (links below).

To-do list:
- transparent panels

 low quality brush

all the brushed themes i've seen so far are low quality, why don't you base them on Tiger Brushed (winamp skin)?
take a look:
http://winamp.com/skins/details.php?id=144124
it's perfect :D

ps: it was just a suggestion, please don't misunderstand me ;)

Hi and thanks!!!

I think the theme will be more pleasant for your eyes, when it is a little bit brighter.

You are probably right, I will lighten the metacity borders too, and publish both versions together in the next release if that's ok with you.

I'm not sure which buttons you mean.

Do you speak about widgets (red, green, yellow), or do you want control buttons to be brushed?

Thanks,

gray bottons like a apples interface graphite, the widgets red, yellow and green are many colors for that borders, im prefer a calm and gray colors for the desktop.

others metacity themes as iridium could be inspire to do.

thank you and congratulations for your job.

the grat job to miss in gnome is a consistent theme with all icons, colors and details to get a better look and feel.

sorry my english!!

Hi,

Well, there is a problem with your suggestion.

If I do the buttons grey there will be very little distinction between focused and unfocused window. Also I have tried to use just one color but came little short on the side of functionality I'm affraid.

So, all this goes too far from my idea when I started modding this theme.

However, as soon as I spare some time I'll publish separate metacity theme that will feature grey buttons.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Hi,

I found a little error in the Metacity-Theme. There are two bright pixels in the inaktive Icons of the windowborder.
Have a look:

Thanks for your job!
