Description:

leafSimple is a X11 mouse theme multisized to 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 pixels, for both: righties and lefties. It is dedicated to Linux Mint Petra with Cinnamon as desktop environment. I want to thank Brahim Salem, who is a member of this website, for his contribution with ideas for the conclusion of this project.

I am offering with property multi sized and also as pack for those who don't like or they have trouble for choose the cursor size with mouse themes multi sized.

The pointers were made with Inkscape. Cursors are look well in both, dark and clear backgrounds. I will appreciate any comments to improve this cursor theme.

It Works fine in Gnome and Unity, and now I've added some symlinks to Steam, and everything needed for KDE with Kwin, Cinnamon, Pantheon, Xcfe.

I decided to upload it, and after i will improving it. I would like change a few things so you can expect updates. If you find any bugs, please let me know in comments section.

If you don't know how to install a mouse theme with multi sized property or to choose a cursor size, go to http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=164300, there you can see the instructions for Gnome2/3.x, Unity, KDE, Cinnamon, Pantheon and Xfce.

  • 2014 Dec 01 v1.0.0 Added 24 size. I fixed all problems about aliasing. All icons have been redrawn

  • 2014 Jun 01 v0.2.5 I changed the left_ptr's animation (main cursor); now is animated each 16384 ms. Is not animated when you put the cursor on any hotpoint.

  • 2014 Mar v0.2.3 Some animations are changed.

  • 2014 Mar v0.2.1 i've decided to put all size variations in a pack, and i changed some animations.

  • 2014 Mar v0.2.0 fully rebuilt because I included new main cursor.

  • 2014 Mar v0.0.7 Changed dnd-none, not-allowed and pencil cursors.

  • 2014 Mar v0.0.6 New animation for left_ptr cursor. Now stop animation each 16384 ms, and begin it when the cursor get out of any hotstop.

  • 2014 Mar v0.0.4 New animation for left_ptr cursor.

  • 2014 Mar v0.0.3 I included new grabbing, left_ptr_watch and watch cursors. Fixed hotspot of cross cursor.

  • 2014 Mar v0.0.1 Initial release.

    I am working on the building the new cursors: watch and left_ptr_watch. They are more in line than the currents.

    The most "design" Cursers are just for fun. Not so LeafSimple. This Curser is funny AND usefull.

    lol...I think it was never to return. already i lost the sources. as the other leaf's theme has that animation, I thought of changing it. But if the community wants the previous animation, I will make it immediately.
