I dislike Unity, because :
· no task bar (switch with Alt+tab is right only when there are at most 2 windows per workspace)
· the application menu is even more messy than KDE's one.
· not as customizable as most of Linux's WM.

Because, future has only desktop environment, with:
1. very high scalability / configurability
2. its very fast, for new, old and for netbooks
3. its lightweight (lower than 400 MB)
4. user understand new design / can build own

but
5. i give my last chance to unity, if would have more options for configuration files / windows / designs, and run smoothly on netbooks too.

It is AWFUL
and Ubuntu Gnome 3 won't work on my nvidia laptop,
it does if I boot fc15!
So I roll back to Maverick.

Unity isn't that bad, tho I prefer Xfce above anything( /me need some customising!).
Gnome isn't bad either...
QT/KDE is the only thing I really dislike.
