The search bar in top right could be replaced with deskbar-applet http://projects.gnome.org/deskbar-applet. But icon have to be changed. Hope that the global-menu bug with firefox... will be fixed soon. I noticed that in some programs e.g. vlc, mouse change color back to white. Can this be fixed?

Keep up the good work.

Hi it's really a great work. I installed the last version yesterday and everything seems to be working. But I had 4 workspaces and a cube animation when I change from one to another now I don't have the possibility also I want to add other things to docky but the things to add aren't that much such as the workSpace exchanger for example.

Thank you for this great work and I hope that you can help me fixing that.

This theme is beautiful and is now my default theme. I designed a Gnomenu theme that blends well with Macbuntu. You can find my iMenu theme here:

Keep up the great work!

 installation question

Hi.

Great theme, I use it as default in my desktop and laptop.

I have one question though... I install it in my laptop, installation verifies for root privileges and asks me for my password.

Once it is installed in the system, I want to make another user in the same laptop look the same, but the other user does not have sudo privileges.

I (I am the administrator) want to install it in the system, and I wan to make other users (non administrators) look like this.

Thanks in advance... great transformation pack!

Once it is installed on the system any user can use the theme you need only to select it by right clicking on the background after they have logged in and selecting "Change Desktop Background" and then tab to "Themes" and select Macbuntu!

Love the theme!

Thank you for the tip.

I found it right where you said. Unfortunately, it only replaces the skin, and the icons, menus, and effects remain the same.

What I did was: grant the user admin privileges temporarily, and installed from inside the user, and then removed the admin privileges to the user.

Now working perfectly in both users in my laptop.

By far, the best theme I've seen for linux.

Some people even ask me how did I turn my laptop into a mac.

Until a new refreshing look for gnome arrives, this a must have.

Thank you very much!

 Make windows look brighter

Hi everyone, I've just tried Macbuntu yesterday and very excited with this themepack, but a little thing i do not accept is the theme color is so dark, and I want it look brighter such as Snow leopard.
I used Gimp to edit brighness of some file in ~/.themes/Macbuntu and everythings almost came right. But a little problem remained is a dark line between title bar and toolbar. So anyone can tell me how to fix this, i had try to edit many file in Macbuntu folder but problem still remain. I has attached the screenshot here for easy to understand, sorry for my bad English skill
