 Problems with Uninstall

Hi, just posting that I had a problem when I uninstalled this theme. Everything's fine, except nautilus. Only when I use 'gksudo nautilus' does it looks fine, but otherwise it looks like it does in the screenshot below. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Please keep in mind that I'm no computer expert, but I'm not a complete newbie.

Other than this problem, I have to say that this is an amazing theme with a wonderful attention to detail. :)

Try gksudo gnome-appearance-properties in the terminal and choose a theme there.

That's right. If theme which you use isn't installed in /usr/share/themes

Copy the theme to the above folder.

sudo cp ~/.themes/THEME_NAME /usr/share/themes/

 Eclipse icon background wrong.

Less is more

For the previous version I was using the following script

#!/bin/bash
export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0
~/bin/eclipseEE/eclipse

and the result was quite smooth. Now we went back to scratch where the background is the title color. Any fixes for this version? Great job by the way I really love it.

Previous version? 10.10 (v2.3) is the first version with Application Menu as default Global Menu. Do not fully understand, can you send a screenshot?

Also, you can install Gnome GlobalMenu known from version 10.04 (v2.3 & <), here is the patch:

this is my screenshot, I am not refering to the menu of eclipse, but to the background color, check the contrast in the Run button for example. I didn't know I could have the eclipse menu globally now. Thanks :).

I fixed it by hashing

#class "*Toolbar" style "toolbar"
#widget_class "*Toolbar" style "toolbar"

in the ~/.themes/Macbuntu/gtk-2.0/gtkrc

and run it like

#!/bin/bash
export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0
~/bin/eclipseEE/eclipse

everything works quite smoothly now :) thanks again.

Did someone manage to solve the nautilus elementary problem. In my case it doesn't work with macbuntu and I stumbled upon other complaints in the same matter. Or at least let's implement some other file manager

Cheers

At the beginning, what is the problem? Can you write something more? I am working on Nautilus Elementary and noticed any complex problems.

Well, for starters the problem came when I first installed macbuntu and NE (nautilus elementary). The menubar disappeared and didn't want to turn on. There was no preferences record in the menu. It was buggy and wacky and kind of sluggish.

However though when I installed NE on a clean slate and then macbuntu it worked and still works fine. And don't know where the problem was but I am guessing some of the scripts required for macbuntu were screwing with the NE

Thanks, I will examine it. Although in the new version NE will be installed by default, so, I certainly will test better :)

 HELP!! bottom panel

Great! Very smart work!
And i have some troubles need you help.
after installed Macbuntu,my "places" & "system" item in top left were both gone! More than that, the bottom panel dispeared.
I know that Mac use docky, and i don't like it. I prefer ubuntu's style,"places" & "system" item in top Panel, "desktop" "trash" "4 windows" in bottom Panel. By this style, when i minimize windows or browsers, they are stacked on the bottom panel, I prefer this easy way to look up.
How can i rescue that? Thank you for ur help! PS:Sorry for my poor English,I wish you can get my idea.

Troubles are fixed! Macbuntu is very awesome!
Hope next version have two different version, one is change your preferences and install docky, another one is just give users a mac-like theme, won't change your other things. Such as install docky and delete bottom panel.
It's a good work,keep going!
