Thunderbird 3 seems ugly. Background of mail content area is white and the text of the header of "Events" in right sidebar (Lighting installed) is also white ....

Any solution to these issues ?

Please make a screenshot with this issues. But the Thunderbird is a really problematic application for the dark themes, same as the Firefox. So I can't say exactly, will it be possible to fix or not.

Thanks for your quick response :)

Snapshot here:

http://a.lihdd.net/tmp/thunderbird_theme_issue.png

Thunderbird itself has options to set font and background colors of mail body, so this is not an issue any more.

Now the trouble maker is Lighting (Thunderbird's calandar extension).

 Instructions to GIT Murrine

Hi,arobase! Could you add the instructions needed to get the Murrine engine from GIT, as you did to Nautilus Elementary, in the list on the first page? Your theme is being reviewed here (http://www.techdrivein.com/2010/09/elegant-gnome-theme-pack-for-ubuntu-is.html), but the author missed to mention this issue. Detailed instructions on the "cover page" of Gnome-Look would be helpful, I guess. :)

If you know the author of this article, so please let him know, that there is NO NEED for Equinox engine, the theme uses only Murrine engine.
The second thing is that the Elegant GNOME PPA contains the Murrine engine from Git, so you install all the stuff you need from this PPA.
On Ubuntu Maverick the theme works out of the box.

3 things are not ok with skype.
1. The nasty blue background where the name of the user stands. It totally messes up the feel of the theme
2. The names in the chat window can't be read becouse of the dark color. If you can make them white like the text, or some other gray color it would be nice.
3. When you select to edit a sent message, the message box turns yellow and the text is set to yellow and you can't see what you're editing :/

Ok, It looks like I have to explain some basics.
The Skype application is not a GTK app, this is a Qt application, wich actually is not even opensource. All the colors that you don't like can't be controllable by the theme, coz the color values are hardcoded in application's sources. So the skype will have this colors with any Gtk theme.
